MetroHacks technology education non-profit empowering young people in the Boston area and beyond,
hosting the largest high-school hackathon (or coding competition and education event) in the New England area! (Age range: 13-18)

2. Girls Who Code Club
Girls Who Code offers free after-school programs for 3rd-5th and 6th-12th grade girls to join our sisterhood of supportive peers and role models using computer science to change the world. (Age range: grades 3-5 club or grades 6-12 club.)

3. SWE #HELLOWORLD
#HelloWorld is a new program run by MIT's Society of Women Engineers (SWE) to teach middle school girls the basics of web design. The goal is to introduce girls to coding with HTML and CSS and spark their curiosity in computer programming and computer science. Each student will have the opportunity to create their own website on a STEM topic of their choosing, and each student will be paired up with a MIT student volunteer who will be their mentor during the program. (Age range: grades 6-8)
